Three-shift Motor Housing Lost Foam Layout with an Annual Output of 60,000 Tons

This is a layout diagram of a three-shift motor housing lost foam production line, which is 120 meters long and 30 meters wide, with an annual output of 60,000 tons. Hello everyone, today I'd like to introduce a lost foam equipment solution. This is an automatic production line with an annual output of 12,000 tons, producing mixer accessories such as mixing arms, blades, and liners, with materials including cast steel, high-chromium cast iron, and ductile iron.
The entire workshop is 115 meters long and 69 meters wide. Since the customer also has other casting processes, to maximize resource utilization and optimize the design, we have positioned the pouring areas of both processes closest to the electric furnace.
In the black area of the lost foam process, two pouring lines and one molding line are designed. The highest point of the equipment is the first hoist after screening, which is 12 meters above the ground. After the castings are automatically turned over by the hydraulic box turnover machine, the casting separator separates the castings from the molding sand. The castings undergo shot blasting and grinding, while the molding sand enters the screening conveyor, hoist, and sand temperature regulator through the sand dropper, and then is transported to the sand storage warehouse via the hoist and belt conveyor for recycling.

Since machine tool parts are relatively large, the white models in the yellow zone are processed using a flow coating machine. Each drying room covers 60 square meters with a height of 2.5 meters, and 8 drying rooms are configured.
In the black area, there are 2 molding stations and 4 pouring stations, with a sand processing capacity of 30 tons per hour.
The production line adopts an open-loop design, and the entire sand processing system uses closed-loop cycle information feedback. The system achieves automatic temperature measurement, sand flow rate adjustment, and conveying speed adjustment, maximizing the cooling effect of molding sand.

This is a lost foam casting factory specializing in steel ingot molds, operating with molding and flask turning during the day and casting at night. The white molds are produced by cutting, then assembled and bonded by workers. The yellow area is designed with 4 drying rooms, each 2.5 meters high. The black area is equipped with 2 molding stations and 5 casting stations, using overhead cranes for flask turning and casting.
The screening system of this production line adopts a double-layer screening conveyor, integrating coarse screening and fine screening. It saves floor space while enhancing efficiency.
